Summary: Compensation $120,000.00 plus relocation assistance
Degree: Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling (PhD or PsyD) from an APA accredited program. Fellowship: completion of a formal clinical Psychologist fellowship or trained in a doctoral program with pediatric emphasis including practice and clinical fieldwork for children and adolescents. Experience: 2 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school-based setting. License: Any U.S. License to practice Child psychology qualifies.
Term: 3 years
Services will be provided to patients 0 to 36 months of age and, upon request of the MTF clinic supervisor, older patients up to 21, and their families, in accordance with standards established by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), applicable MTF standards, and standards of the American Board applicable to employee’s specialty.
Services provided by Clinical Child Psychologists will include developmental screenings, diagnostic and treatment services, family training and counseling for children and their families. Service settings may include children’s homes, child care centers, schools and other military community settings. Functions will also include child-find activities, and community awareness and education programs. The majority of services may be required to be performed within the child’s natural environment.
Clinical Child Psychologist will subscribe to the inter/transdisciplinary model of service delivery and shall utilize the range of resources and approaches to provide appropriate, coordinated services to clients.
All personnel providing service under this Agreement shall attend Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and other related meetings and present their evaluations and recommendations. Recommendations for specific programs, i.e. TEACH, LOVAAS, etc. will not be presented. Treatment will be discussed in theoretical terms such as behavior therapy, educational, etc. Eligibility of particular beneficiaries will be determined in accordance with applicable regulations or instructions.
All reports and documentation of services will be performed on government-approved forms, and government-approved automatic record keeping systems, in accordance with MTF and government policies. The Clinical Child Psychologist agrees to complete official correspondence using prescribed formats.
Clinical Child Psychologists will possess and utilize computer literacy and computer skills throughout the term of this Agreement, and will maintain patient files in accordance with Government and MTF regulations.
