Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Nocturnist Hospitalist services for Bassett Healthcare Network in Oneonta, NY at A.O. Fox Hospital.

Description:

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated healthcare system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school - based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

This Nocturnist Hospitalist position is located at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY. The community hospital is licensed for 53 med/surg beds. Subspecialty services are available in Cardiology, General Surgery, Infectious disease, Pulmonary, and Orthopedics, and a burgeoning telemedicine service including Psychiatry, Palliative Care, and Neurology. Bassett is an EPIC EMR Network.

  Job Summary:

Join an established group of 18 Hospitalist Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC).

Responsibilities:

•     155 shifts yearly; block schedule, typically 7 days on and 7 days off
