Outpatient Pediatrics Opportunity on Virginia’s Beautiful Eastern Shore

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Pediatrician to join our growing team at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital (RSMH), a modern, state-of-the-art facility opened in 2017. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an expanding primary care presence in a welcoming and supportive rural community.

You’ll thrive in a predominantly outpatient role with some involvement in newborn care and low-acuity inpatient responsibilities, supported by a multidisciplinary team and access to collaborative subspecialty providers.

Position Highlights:

• Enjoy an outpatient-focused role with occasional attendance at deliveries and rounding on newborns at our modern hospital

• Provide continuity of care by supporting a small, low-acuity newborn nursery, including newborn exams and early-life care in collaboration with OB/GYNs and Family Medicine

• Join a collaborative care team with three OB/GYNs and certified nurse midwives, averaging 300 deliveries annually

• Access to strong specialty support in Cardiology, Pulmonology, Urology, Neurology, and Hospitalist Medicine

• Integrated EPIC system linking 132 outpatient and inpatient locations across Riverside Health System

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME allowance

• Training stipend available for early signers

• Federal Loan Repayment Program eligible site, with additional loan forgiveness opportunities

• 6 weeks PTO, paid malpractice with tail, and full benefits package
