Job Description

Position Overview

The Department of Neonatology part of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt (MCJCHV), is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist/Newborn Medicine Pediatrician to support Cookeville Regional Medical Center. We are looking for a highly skilled clinician with a focus on hospital medicine and a special interest in delivery rooms and newborn care. Competency in circumcision is required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hospital medicine and newborn care at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Participate in delivery room procedures and newborn care.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinical operations

Qualifications

Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics.
Clinical focus on hospital medicine with training in delivery rooms and newborn care.
Ability to perform circumcisions, UVC placements, intubations using LMA
NRP certified
