Ballad Health is seeking a trained  General Surgeon  to join Surgical Associates of Kingsport at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. The physicians will be joining a team of general surgeons with current subspecialization coverage for foregut, bariatric and colorectal surgery. The ideal candidate for this position will be doing a mix of elective general surgery and taking call. The practice offers the unique ability to perform a board range of bread-and-butter general surgery in a supportive environment with the ability to subspecialize.

• Share call with 5 surgeons in a Level III Trauma Center                       
• 400+ Bed Hospital                 
• Two Da Vinci Xi Robots with after-hours staffing                  
• EPIC EMR

The surgical program at Holston Valley Medical Center consists of 7 general/robotic/bariatric surgeons and a colorectal surgeon, 7 advanced practitioners providing trauma and acute care services in the Level 3 trauma center.
