Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a board certified/board eligible Hospitalist interested in experiencing all four seasons in a Midwest city surrounded by beautiful suburbs and charming rural communities.  Work on a great team in a very collegial multi-specialty group.  We are 1-2 hours from Dayton, Toledo, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit. 

Hospitalist Program Highlights:                   

• Responsible for rounding on an average of 15-16 patients per day with occasional ED/direct admissions
• 7 on 7 off working 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  (Wednesday – Tuesday)
  • Our strong team structure allows for a great work/life balance.
• No patients under the age of 16
• Teach residents, medical students, and APC’s
• Most specialties represented except for burns and transplants
• 424 bed count facility with a 10-county catchment area of 480,000+
• Hospitalist Group Census averages 170-200
• Respond to Code Blues for your patients – ICU team is primary.
• No procedures are required.
• Closed ICU
• Competitive compensation and full benefits package
  • Agreements are based on 161 shifts
  •   Eligible for Supplemental Executive Retirement plan at 181+ shifts (in addition to 403b with match)
  • 8 weeks fully paid parental leave (father).    Mother – 8 weeks fully paid plus 6-8 weeks at 60%
