Broward HealthPoint, an affiliate of Broward Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine physicians to join our growing outpatient community health clinic. Current Locations: Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale Lakes
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully engaged in the concept of an “integrated team-based care” model
- Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention
- Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in the performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicates Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.
- Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the underserved population with comorbidities.
- Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing and fragmentation of care.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Educate patients on preventive health measures and disease management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic healthcare record (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on current medical research, evidence-based practices and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM).
- Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
