Family Medicine Physician Job at Broward Health in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Broward HealthPoint, an affiliate of Broward Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine physicians to join our growing outpatient community health clinic. Current Locations: Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale Lakes

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully engaged in the concept of an “integrated team-based care” model
• Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention
• Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in the performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicates Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.
• Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the underserved population with comorbidities.
• Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing and fragmentation of care.
• Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing as needed.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures and disease management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic healthcare record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Stay up to date on current medical research, evidence-based practices and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM). 
• Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
