POSITION: Renal Pathologist 

(Hospital-Based; Board-certified, Training in Renal pathology)

South Texas Pathology Associates LLP, is actively recruiting a board-certified pathologist with subspecialty training in Renal Pathology to join our Transplant hospital-based pathology practice in San Antonio, Texas. The transplant pathology service duties include surgical pathology with a growing practice of medical renal biopsies and transplant-related surgical case evaluation.

The prospective candidate would join a robust 40+year pathology practice offering excellent salary and time-off (PTO) allowance. Following an initial orientation period (1-3 months, based on experience and comfort), the candidate will share equal coverage of the dedicated transplant pathology service. No off-site travel or remote coverage required.

All candidates should be board-certified with subspecialty training in Renal Pathology. Additional specialty interests or fellowship training is desirable. Recent fellowship graduates will be strongly considered. About STPA:

Our group is comprised of 24 pathologists and 5 pathologists assistants. All pathologists are fellowship-trained and board certified in a variety of subspecialties providing a wide range of expertise including in Breast, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Cytology, Transplant, and Hematopathology.

We work at 5 hospitals located in Northwest and North Central San Antonio, all within the Methodist Healthcare System, which includes active and expanding surgical oncology and transplant programs.
