POSITION: Hematopathologist

(Hospital-Based; Board-certified, training in Hematopathology)

South Texas Pathology Associates LLP, is actively recruiting a board-certified pathologist with subspecialty training in Hematopathology to join our hospital-based pathology practice in San Antonio, Texas. The hematopathology service duties include evaluation of bone marrow and lymph node biopsies with a growing practice of acute leukemia treatment, bone marrow transplant, and in-house flow cytometry. The range of neoplastic and transplant-related cases provides an ideal spectrum of stimulating hematopathology cases. 

The prospective candidate would join a robust 40+year pathology practice offering excellent salary and time-off (PTO) allowance. Following an initial orientation period (1-3 months, based on experience and comfort), the candidate will share equal coverage of the dedicated hematopathology service. No off-site travel or remote coverage required.

All candidates should be board-certified with fellowship training in Hematopathology. Additional specialty interests or fellowship training is desirable. Recent fellowship graduates will be strongly considered. About STPA:

Our group is comprised of 24 pathologists and 5 pathologists assistants. All pathologists are fellowship-trained and board certified in a variety of subspecialties providing a wide range of expertise including in Breast, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Cytology, Transplant, and Hematopathology.

We work at 5 hospitals located in Northwest and North Central San Antonio, all within the Methodist Healthcare System, which includes active and expanding surgical oncology and transplant programs.
