Pathologist Job at MyMichigan Health in Saginaw, MI

Seeking an eager and dedicated full-time BC/BC pathologist. 35 to 50 cases read per day, split between 2 pathologists.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a full-spectrum EP program. MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw is recognized as a Blue Distinction+ Center for Cardiac Care by Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Comprehensive cardiovascular care includes state-of-the-art cardiac cath labs, non-invasive cardiac and vascular testing, electrophysiology and structural heart programs. The hospital holds the largest cardiac research and clinical trials in the region.

Position Highlights:

• Assist in the preparation and performance of human tissue examinations
• Complete dissection provides description of certain surgical cases daily
• Selects and submits appropriate sections for routine microscopic examinations, frozen sections, etc.
• Covers clinical laboratory, including blood bank
• Supports the surgical department for select procedures
• Surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (No GYN cytology specimen)

Education Requirements

• AP/CP certified pathologist
• Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
• Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency

Compensation

Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Benefits include:
