Family Medicine Physician Job at Capital Endocrine & Diabetes in Cedar Park, TX

Capital Endocrine & Diabetes, a physician-owned endocrinology practice located in the highly desirable northern Austin suburb of Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join our team. Founded by Dr. Venkatesh Segu in 2013, our practice offers a dynamic and supportive environment for professional growth.

Position Details:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 based on experience.

• Practice Environment: Join a well-established practice specializing in 100% outpatient endocrinology.

• Work Schedule: Full-time, four and a half days a week, Monday through Friday.

  • Prior Authorization Team to handle the increasing influx of PAs

• Patient Population: A balanced mixture of young adults to seniors.

• Location: Adjacent to Cedar Park Regional Hospital in a recently-built, multi-speciality medical practice complex. Cedar Park, TX is a growing, adjacent town, 20 minutes from downtown Austin, TX.

• Professional Development:  Opportunities for mentorship, continuing medical education, and professional growth. Dr. Segu has 25+ years of medical experience with deep expertise in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Internal Medicine and trained numerous providers in his career.

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.

• Current and valid state license in Texas.

• At least 1 year of outpatient experience in family practice or internal medicine is required

• Excellent clinical skills and bedside manner, with a dedication to providing patient-centered care.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field.

• Prior experience managing a high-volume patient caseload preferred.

• Experience in endocrinology is a plus.
