Action Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced and dedicated locum family medicine and urgent care physicians to support an underserved population in a unique facility in beautiful New Mexico. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventative care and chronic condition management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned as needed and may vary depending on specialty.
- Delivering safe and compassionate care to patients.
- Provide full range of clinical services including assessment, evaluation and creation of treatment programs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and make appropriate treatment decisions.
- Complete, timely and accurate documentation and charting in provided systems.
- Collaborate with specialists as necessary for patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Full-time day shift, approximately 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
License, Certification, Education:
- American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
- Medical degree an accredited program.
- Unencumbered license to practice medicine valid for the worksite state.
- Completed approved residency training program.
- Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years experience in primary care, ER, critical care or rheumatology is preferred.
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiology and neonatal ventilator management.
- Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures.
- Strong clinical research skills.
