The Iowa Primary Care Association is looking for a bilingual (Spanish) Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient community health center in Council Bluffs, IA.

About the health center:

This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, under one roof.

Position Details:

Clinic Hours:

• Mon-Thurs: 8am-7pm; Fri: 8am - 5pm; Sat: 8am-12pm; will discuss schedule during interview.

Call schedule: rotated weekly amongst the provider but is very light.

Patient load: 8-16 per day

Patient appts: 20 minute time slots

Team: 1 MD, 3 PA, 4.2 NP, .5 RN, 1.5 MA

EHR: Epic

Ideal candidate: Bilingual in Spanish, although not required.

• Current advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licenses in the State of Iowa.
• Successful completion of a certification examination administered by the American Nursing Association. Maintenance of ANA certification through continuing education and work experience as required by ANA.
• Current Federal DEA and Iowa CSA registrations in good standing
• Bilingual in Spanish

• Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for up to $50,000 for 2 years of service with an option to renew.
• Salary range: Starting at $121,000 and goes up based on experience.
• Licensing and Professional Subscriptions: Reimbursement provided.
