Job Summary
ACMH, an independent community hospital, is actively recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician for our ACMH OB/GYN practice. Join a team of 3 physicians and 2 physician assistant. TheACMH ObGyn practice averages approximately just under 300 deliveries per year, or 20 to 25 per month. ACMH has a level 1 nursery and does not deliver high risk patients. A typical week for an incoming ObGyn will consist of one call day per week and one weekend of call per month. The ObGyn will see 16-22 patients per day in the clinic and will have one surgery day per week. ACMH does have a DaVinci Robot for those candidates who are trained and interested in completing robotic cases.
The Maternity Center at ACMH is equipped with seven birthing suites. If a patient should need either a scheduled or emergency cesarean section, this procedure is performed in a designated operating room adjacent to the Maternity Center. After delivery, there are 13 private rooms to allow optimal space for a mom to care for her baby after delivery. ACMH has a team of pediatricians managing newborns. These physicians are on call 24/7 and available to the Maternity Center and Nursery.
