Geisinger Eye Institute has openings to join their well-established practice with multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center. A truly great opportunity to join the ever-growing Geisinger system. Geisinger is a physician led system offering comprehensive patient care to a large rural and urban population in central Pennsylvania at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Openings in the following specialties:
- Comprehensive
- Glaucoma
- Cornea
Our practice:
- Advanced technologies in diagnostic FA, Fundus Camera, HVF, Goldman Field, IOL Master, Immersion, OCT, Pachymetry, and Topography
- Treatment options, including SLT Laser , YAG Laser, Argon Laser
- Geisinger owned surgical facilities- on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center
- Anticipated Scribes in clinic
- Clinics have over 50 exam rooms
- Shared call (home call)
- Opthalmology Residency program onsite
- A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices
