The successful candidate will join the renowned team of academically oriented, supportive, collegial neuroscience and academic leaders. With our thriving residency program, the qualified candidate will have an enthusiastic commitment to teaching or research while delivering exceptional patient care to a diverse community. The suitable candidate will receive a faculty appointment consistent with their credentials and have faculty status at the University of Arizona.
Join a Neurology Department of multidisciplinary programs using the full range of treatment modalities to evaluate and treat common and rare neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis, CIDP, ALS, and muscular dystrophy, among many others. The Department includes large, outpatient, state-of-the-art facilities, and an established network of resources including a dedicated genetic counselor and neuropsychological. Our ALS multidisciplinary clinic includes clinical social work, physical, occupational, recreational, and speech therapies; and acclaimed community outreach programs. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a high-volume, diverse, and medically complex patient population in collaboration with an outstanding multidisciplinary team.
