Pediatric Pulmonologist

Highlights & Benefits

  • Academic Opportunities

Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a new academic Pulmonologist to join our practice.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine provides expert care to infants, children, and adolescents with a broad range of respiratory conditions. These include asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchiectasis, congenital and chronic lung disorders, pulmonary hypertension, and ventilator dependence. We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services through a team-based, patient-centered model of care.

Our faculty actively collaborate across multiple specialties to support medically complex patient populations. We are proud participants in multidisciplinary programs for children with cystic fibrosis, difficult-to-control asthma, neuromuscular disorders, primary ciliary dyskinesia, technology dependence, complex tracheomalacia, and aerodigestive conditions. The division is also involved in remote care initiatives, including directly observed therapy, to improve access and continuity of care for our patients.

Our team performs diagnostic bronchoscopies with opportunities for interventional bronchoscopies for interested candidates. Faculty have access to the full range of procedural capabilities, including pulmonary function interpretation, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and sweat chloride testing. Division members benefit from the resources of a highly integrated academic medical center that promotes collaboration, innovation, and excellence in clinical practice.

This is an academic position with opportunities to contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, research, and leadership at both the divisional and departmental level. The division supports the education of residents through an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and offers faculty a supportive environment for scholarly activity.
