North Oaks Health System is seeking Board-Eligible or Board-Certified OPHTHALMOLOGISTS to join our hospital-employed practice in Hammond, LA.
Overview:

- Serving a large geographic market of approximately 500,000 residents, North Oaks has provided quality health care to its community for over 60 years.
- North Oaks Health System includes a 330-bed acute care hospital, 14 expansive operating suites, primary stroke center certification, a 27-bed rehabilitation hospital, a freestanding surgical center, two diagnostic centers, a hospice agency, and the largest multispecialty provider clinic in the region.
- Using the EPIC electronic healthcare record system-wide, North Oaks invests in technologies and programs that allow our providers to deliver the highest quality of care.
- Operating as a Hospital Service District, all excess revenues are reinvested to expand the services and technologies that North Oaks offers; additionally, as we are a not-for-profit, our employed physicians may be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- North Oaks Eye Care Clinic, which consistently has earned the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award in the past 9 years, is a busy and well-established practice where you ll have the support of an experienced optometrist and team of certified opticians.
- Offering academic opportunities for its physicians, North Oaks received accreditation from ACGME in January 2024, and began its Internal Medicine Residency Program in July 2024.
