Internal Medicine Physician Responsibilities:

  1. Provides general medical care to health center patients.
  2. Evaluates patient s health status and initiates therapeutic and preventive measures.
  3. Educates patients by teaching preventative care.
  4. Documents patients history and treatments.
  5. Performs medical triage.
  6. Stabilizes emergencies prior to hospitalization.
  7. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests. Follows-up on patients.
  8. When appropriate, refers patients to specialists or other physicians.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Refuah:

  1. Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
  2. Valid NYS License or ability to attain one
  3. Active NY DEA Registration
  4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  5. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  6. Hours: Daytime, one evening per week, Fridays and available on weekends
  7. Eligible to Work in the US
