Neonatology Job at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care and management of infants in the special care and newborn nursery. In the absence of an infant’s attending physician the Nurse Practitioner will perform the initial physical examination of newborns and establish any diagnosis of illness or abnormal physical condition. The Nurse practitioner will attend higher acuity deliveries and be responsible for stabilizing the neonate. The Nurse practitioner will provide admission orders including medication orders.

LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center – Batavia, NY

DEPARTMENT: Nursery

RESPONSIBILITIES/ATTRIBUTES

• Full Time (3 Twelve-Hour Shifts) – Days, evenings, and nights
• Provide great documentation, teamwork, and education skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Neonatal experience is required

PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
