Employed General Surgeon/Trauma Surgeon Opportunity

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board eligible General Surgeon/Trauma Surgeon. You will work in a well-respected multi-specialty group at a large regional referral center (424 beds) serving a ten-county area with a robust patient population of 480,000+. Our region offers small city, suburban, small town, and rural living options within easy access to metropolitan areas. Dayton, Toledo, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit are an easy 1–2-hour interstate highway drive.

• Provide on-call coverage for trauma surgery, support the ICU, and perform general surgery.
• Maintain the standards set forth by the ACS.
• Abide by the most current standards in providing acute surgical care and treatment of traumatically injured patients in alignment with the Mercy Health St. Rita's mission.
• ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Candidates should be BC/BE in the area(s) of General Surgery/Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care.
• Level II Trauma Center
• Our region is highly industrial and agricultural in nature.
• Interstate I-75 is just 4 miles from our facility and a major contributor to many of our MVA-related injuries.
• Main OR has 12 suites and 4 Ambulatory OR suites.
• 4 DaVinci Robots
