University Medicine Associates (UMA) is a mission-driven, non-profit, multi-specialty group of University Health in San Antonio, Texas. UMA consists of 700 (and growing!) providers who offer more than 32 different specialties across San Antonio.
UMA is presently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to deliver the highest standard of general gastroenterological care to residents of Bexar County.
Practice Details:
- 100% outpatient only with procedures done in ASC
- Strong referral system from 80+ PCPs
- Procedures up to three days per week in the endoscopy suite
- Employed hospitalists handle all admissions, rounding and discharges
- Three highly trained advanced endoscopists + two general GI physicians on staff
- The long-term goal is to establish a Gastroenterology & Advanced Endoscopy Institute
