What You'll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of medical conditions, including chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease.
- Conduct routine and preventive care visits, screenings, and wellness checks to promote long-term health and early detection of disease.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Develop evidence-based, personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Manage a continuity panel of patients, ensuring appropriate follow-up and long-term care.
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health professionals, and other providers as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and initiatives tied to clinical performance metrics and value-based care goals.
- Deliver culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate care tailored to Houston’s diverse community.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of family/internal medicine residency program
- Bilingual Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish
- Board eligible/Board certified
- Unrestricted and active California Physician License
- Current BLS, ACLS, CA DEA certification prior to start date

- This is a full-time position.
- The target pay range for this role is $250,000-$320,000 annually. This salary range represents our national target for this role.
