Position Summary 

• Location- Piscataway NJ, Middlesex county. Located about 5 minutes off RT 287. 20 minutes from Staten Island, NY and Elizabeth, NJ
• Office Details-The office has 5 exam rooms. Each provider has their own private office. Currently there is 1 full-time MD and 1 part-time MD. A cardiologist and ultrasound technician are available once a week for patients.
  
• Shift requirements- Looking for someone full time, 4-5 days a week. Schedule is flexible. 
• On Call- Rotation between providers. The office does not round at the hospital.
• Patient Demo- 75% Commercial and 25% Medicare. 
• EMR- Athena

Qualifications or Education, Training and Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of New Jersey
• Board certified or Board eligible
• Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (i.e., family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics)
• DEA controlled substances registration
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification
• Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate
• Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries
• Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations
