UNC Health is seeking experienced and newly trained Neurologists (MD/DO) to join our specialty care teams across North Carolina. Join a trusted, community-based network dedicated to providing expert neurological care for adults and children with a wide range of conditions. These positions offer the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care within supportive, well-established practices located in Clayton, Pittsboro, Goldsboro, Raleigh and Smithfield.

Position Locations:

• UNC Neurology at Clayton (Clayton, NC)
• UNC Health Multispecialty at Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC)
• UNC Health Specialty Care at Chatham Park (Pittsboro, NC)
• UNC Health Rex Outpatient Clinic (Raleigh, NC)
• UNC Specialty Care at Smithfield/Neurology (Smithfield, NC)

About the Roles:

As a Neurologist with UNC Health, you will provide comprehensive neurology services and consultations, working alongside experienced care teams. Each practice offers specialized services, including but not limited to:

• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Consultations and physical exams, infusion therapy, EMG/nerve conduction studies, EEG, lumbar punctures, Botox injections for migraines, and clot-buster medications for stroke.
• Conditions Treated: Stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, neuropathy, headaches, seizures, epilepsy, sleep disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive/memory disorders, and more.

Practice Highlights:

• Goldsboro: Located adjacent to UNC Wayne Hospital, this expanding service line will be adding a Neurologist to meet growing patient needs. New trainees are welcome to apply!
• Pittsboro: Both adult and pediatric patient populations are served in this specialty practice, offering a wide range of neurological assessments and treatments.
• Raleigh: UNC Rex is expanding its neurology team with an experienced neurologist to support a new service line established within the past year, focusing on general neurology, EMG studies, and headache management.

Qualifications:

• Education & Certification: MD/DO from an accredited medical school, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Licensure: North Carolina State License, DEA License, and BLS/ACLS certifications preferred (support available for licensure in progress).
• Experience: All levels of experience welcomed; prior experience preferred but not required for all locations.
