Excellent Nephrology Opportunity
We are looking to add a full-time Nephrology physician to our Nephrology team in our Huntington VA Medical Center. We are seeking a BE/BC Nephrologist with an unrestricted MD / DO medical license, who shares our commitment to providing excellent care to our US Veterans.
The Hershel “Woody” Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va. is a fully accredited 80-bed acute medical and surgical care facility providing primary care and specialty health services, including radiology, mental health services, women’s healthcare, prosthetics, bariatric surgery, pain management, palliative care, neurology, sleep medicine and more.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Practice the full scope of General Nephrology clinical care
- Diagnose, treat, and manage any condition or disease which affects kidney functions
- Develop patient treatment plans
- Establish and support professional working relationships with clinical service providers within the medical center, outpatient clinics (OPCs) and the community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs)
Compensation / Benefits:
- Excellent compensation – Great base salary, based on qualifications, with annual performance pay, biennial market pay raises & annual cost of living pay raises
- Student Loan Forgiveness (EDRP) - Up to $200,000 in student loan forgiveness available – based on work commitment

- Generous time away from practice – Based on a part-time status - 13 days of annual leave, 6.5 annual sick days and paid federal holidays
