McLeod Health seeks a Board Certified General Surgeon in a PRN capacity to support an established program on the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- PRN support for the weekend call schedule.
- Call rotation is currently 1:5...will continue to expand as new physicians join.
- Level 4 trauma - smallest in the state
Department Information
- Currently Team of 5 physicians and growing!
- Team of Advanced Practice Provider support handles clinic pre and post operative details
- Two teams of APPs to support surgeons!
- 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Thursday, practice closes early on Fridays!
- Robotics - Loris and Seacoast
- Call rotates...currently 1:5...will expand as the practice grows
Hospital Locations
- McLeod Health Seacoast has 155 patient beds
- McLeod Health Loris has 50 patient beds
- Carolina Forest - outpatient surgery center
McLeod Health Seacoast has more than 200 physicians on the active medical staff which represents more than 32 medical specialties. McLeod Loris a not-for-profit 50-bed hospital- specializes in general surgery, women s services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and physical/occupational/speech therapies. We also have a new & expanding Dialysis Access Center.
Carolina Forest will ensure a continuation of the highest quality care, access to the best physicians, increased specialty services, and investments in technology. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will be home to a seven-building campus offering a variety of services. In addition, a $56 million, four-story state-of-the-art facility is expected to offer 48 beds ensuring that all patients have access to immediate care. Expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening date of 2026.
