Anesthesiologist Job at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA

Seeking highly qualified anesthesiologists to join Mercy Cedar Rapids’ growing new, employed anesthesiology group.

Mercy Medical Center’s new anesthesiology department will grow to over 25 anesthesiologists. Successful candidates will be:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
• Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice medicine in Iowa.

The anesthesiologists will support Mercy’s broad range of high-volume surgical and procedural services, including general surgery, obstetrics and cardiac in its 15 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy suites, and an ambulatory surgery center.

Mercy’s compensation package for full-time anesthesiologists is highly competitive:

• $600,000 annual W2 or $700,000 annual 1099
• $300,000 signing/starting bonus
• 10 weeks of Paid Leave + Post Primary Call Day Off = 12+ weeks off annually
• 35 call days per year
• Reduced FTE and Reduced Call positions are also available.
