Position Title: RN Supervisor
Location: Broadview Senior Community, Purchase College, NY
Salary: $42.53 - $50.00/hour
Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Position Overview

The RN Supervisor will provide leadership and oversight of nursing care in the Assisted Living and Memory Care areas within the High Point Center for Care. This role ensures residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while supervising LPNs and HHAs. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for conducting resident assessments, managing care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing emergency care as needed. This role also encourages intergenerational engagement, working with college students and facilitating community activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision & Leadership:
• Oversee daily nursing operations, including supervising and guiding LPNs and HHAs in providing safe and effective care to residents.
• Resident Care & Assessments:
• Conduct resident assessments, develop individualized care plans, and make necessary adjustments based on changing needs.
• Compliance & Regulations:
• Ensure nursing care meets regulatory standards, policies, and procedures for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Emergency Care:
• Provide emergency care as necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
• Team Collaboration & Support:
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and interdisciplinary team members, to ensure coordinated, quality care.
• Community Engagement:
• Support the intergenerational mission of Broadview Senior Community, interacting with college students and facilitating community activities that enhance residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an active NY State RN license.
• Certifications:
• CPR certification required.
• Experience:
• Preferably two years of supervisory experience, ideally with experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care.
