Shift: Flexible scheduling within office hours (6:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional therapy services. This role focuses on working with pediatric patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities or special needs, to evaluate, diagnose, and treat their physical therapy requirements. With a flexible schedule, you can choose your own billable hours during regular office hours.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluations and Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of patients following company guidelines.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, revising as necessary after re-evaluations.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and thorough service and therapy notes in the Patient Manager system.
Supervision and Collaboration
- Provide supervision for physical therapy assistants and college/university students as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members and actively participate in job-related functions, such as peer reviews, parent meetings, and mandatory training sessions.
Patient Care and Referrals
- Refer patients for additional services when required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including standard precautions and operational procedures.
Professional Development
- Complete 20 hours of continuing education every two years, as mandated by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
Community Representation
- Positively represent the program to patients, families, and the public.
QualificationsEducation and Certification
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Current Arkansas Physical Therapy License.
- CPR Certification (required).
Experience
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred, especially with infants, toddlers, or preschool children with developmental disabilities or special needs.

- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
- Organizational proficiency for managing documentation and scheduling.
