Today we have over 250 physicians, 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants and nearly 100 locations in our statewide network. Across our network, FCS provides the newest cancer therapies, some not yet available elsewhere, through convenient access to clinical trials. FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. In recent years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval. Through our partnership with Sarah Cannon Research Institute, we offer early-phase clinical trials at three Drug Development Units (DDUs)– one in Sarasota and two in Central Florida. At any point in time, more than 150 active clinical trials are underway at FCS.

Our Tampa Cancer team is seeking a board-certified/eligible medical oncologist and hematologist to join our team. Tampa Bay, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is rated among the top ten places to live in Florida! The area offers Gulf coastal beaches, the Tampa aquarium, major sports teams, and much more. Conveniently located, Disney is a short-distance drive along with the Tampa International airport for easy accessibility.   POSITION OVERVIEW

• This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community-centered care.
• Candidate responsibilities include outpatient clinics, chemotherapy supervision, inpatient and consultation services in the management of malignant cancers and benign hematology diagnoses.
• Physicians have opportunities to participate in research and clinical trials.
• Rotating/rounding call is required.

• Full, unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
