The Department of Neurology at Stamford Health is seeking an additional fellowship trained epileptologist committed to providing person-centered, patient-centered care. This position is 100% outpatient with 50% epilepsy care and 50% general neurology. The physician candidate must be adept with EEG inpatient critical care video monitoring. Stamford Health is a primary teaching hospital site affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery and OB/GYN. Some academic duties are required. The neurology offices are located on the Stamford Hospital campus in a modern, fully updated medical office building. Loan repayment assistance is available. Through our expanded partnership with Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Stamford Health has increased its neurosurgical capabilities to treat a wider range of cerebrovascular conditions and complex stroke cases.

• Join a well-established and collegial group of 6 neurologists and 2.5 neuro-hospitalists
• 36 patient faccing and 4 hours for administrative duties
• 50/50 split of epilepsy and general neurology
• Daily schedule is a combination of outpatient clinic and reading EEGs
• Call is outpatient only, no codes, strokes or inpatient consults

• Requirements: Clinical expertise in epilepsy. MD, DO or foreign equivalent, BC/BE in Neurology, fellowship trained in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology (epilepsy track). Must have an active CT Medical License or the ability to secure one.
