We are growing! University Medicine Associates (UMA) is the multi-specialty group of University Health serving San Antonio and surrounding communities. A dedicated team of 700 (and growing!) credentialed providers, 75+ PCP’s deliver the highest quality of patient care and offer more than 32 different types of services. University Health/UMA is opening 2 new community hospitals and 2 large medical office facilities between now and 2027.
The Department of School-based, Mobile, and Community Health at University Health provides high-quality care to patients across Bexar County. The department operates five school-based health clinics in partnership with four school districts, and two mobile units in some of the most under-served neighborhoods in San Antonio, Texas. The department is also home to the Towne Twin Village clinic, a residential facility that is home to adults 55 years and older with a disabling condition, and a history of being un-housed. The department is committed to achieving clinical excellence, eliminating health disparities, and achieving community health equity in alignment with the mission and vision of University Health
