Internist Job at Duke Health Integrated Practice in Burlington, NC

Duke Health seeks Internal Medicine for an established practice at Kernodle Clinic, Duke’s flagship practice in their western market. Kernodle Clinic is Duke’s largest community-based multi-specialty practice of 60 physicians and 46 advance practice providers covering 15 medical and surgical specialties. The practice includes a 75,000 sq. ft. main office, plus a walk-in clinic and two satellite offices in nearby Mebane and Elon, NC. 

We are growing our Internal Medicine team at two of our clinic locations:

• Burlington office has a team of 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
• Call 1:15 (office call only, answering service fields first call, no inpatient responsibilities)
• 18-24 pts/day
• Abridge AI scribe available
• Dedicated 1:1 ratio of MD/MA or nurse staff
• Rotating PA students as well as medical students
• Mebane practice will relocate to our new construction in Mebane, NC, estimated completion Fall 2026
