We are hiring for a Nocturnist position in a moonlighting capacity. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of five physicians at White Memorial Hospital.
• Work alongside a dedicated team that is actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Must be comfortable performing ICU procedures (arterial and central lines).
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Scheduling:

• This position is for a per diem Nocturnist.
• Flexible scheduling with 11.5-hour night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nocturnist covers the ICU from 8:30 pm to 8 am and supervises the residents’ admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line & airways skills are desired although back-up is available.
• In-house Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
• EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation
