The Department of Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor level Psychiatrist with a strong interest in community psychiatry. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with a culturally diverse patient population and with treatment teams within a multidisciplinary, multi-specialty environment. This is an outpatient position.
- The Department is seeking outpatient Psychiatrists with experience in the following specialty areas: Child/Adult and Geriatrics.
- The roles are hybrid – telemedicine and in-person.
- Direct patient care,
- Any double-boarded (child and adult) will see adults as well.
Requirements:
- MD degree
- Georgia Medical License
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Preferred experience in medical student and/or resident teaching
- Good interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism
- Must be able to obtain clinical privileges at Grady Hospital
