Psychiatrist Job at SouthlandMD in Thomasville, GA

SouthlandMD is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team in the Greater Athens, GA Area! There are increased rates for Child & Adolescent certification or those comfortable with this population. There are also opportunities for advancement and financial incentives to include directorship and APP supervision. There is some flexibility for some telehealth as well.

Duties:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness
- Provide therapy to patients
- Collect data on patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
