Southeast Health in Dothan, AL seeks a BC/BE General Neurologist to join its hospital-employed medical group. Southeast Health Medical Center is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state, and this Physician will treat patients in an outpatient-based Neurosciences Clinic that is conveniently located on the Medical Center's campus. Completion of an ACGME Neurology residency program is required, and the ideal candidate will possess fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology or dedicated elective training in EMG/NCV. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Practice Highlights:
- Outpatient only - no inpatient, call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Practice at one location - no travel is required
- Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 8a-5p and Friday 8am-12pm
- Dedicated NP in the clinic
- Neurotesting available in the clinic along with trained technicians
- Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center is available
- Practice alongside a multidisciplinary group of Neurosurgeons (both general and Neuroendovascular), Interventional Neurologists, and Neurohospitalists
- Opportunity to precept/lecture residents and medical students
