Providence Anesthesiology Associates (PAA) seeks a BC/BE physician to join their six-physician group in Hickory, NC. Ideally, the position is for a partner, but are willing to consider an employee position as well.  The group is well established and has an excellent relationship with hospital administration, physician staff and CRNA's. Catawba Valley Medical Center, a high-performing, independent, not-for-profit hospital is the sole location, although the hospital plans to open a surgery center in the near future.

Compensation will be competitive with the current market.

Candidate must be proficient in regional U/S guided blocks.

Wide variety of cases including General, Peds, Bariatric, GYN, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Urology, Vascular, and non-OR cases. Very rare thoracic and trauma. No cardiac, neurosurgery, or complex peds. High acuity and very busy practice including Labor & Delivery.
