Join our team in Eastern Alabama with this low-volume emergency medicine opportunity. Clay County is a small independent hospital serving the town and community of Ashland, Alabama. The position is ideally suited for a family physician with emergency and Inpatient experience.

Job Details:
-The daily ER volume is about 15 patients per day.
-24 - hour shifts with flexible scheduling
-Local hospitalist coverage is available Monday-Friday
-Quality nursing staff
-Lab and Radiology services 24/7
-Participates in Alabama Trauma Network
-EMR is CPSI

Clay County Hospital is an acute care hospital with 53 beds. The hospital provides a comprehensive list of services including radiology services, physical and occupational therapy, emergency room, hospice, cardiology clinic, a nursing home and sleep lab.

Physician Requirements:
EM and inpatient experience required.
Active Alabama Physician licence
Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications

Compensation
Independent Contractor status (1099) status
Our providers work as independent contractors for added tax benefits and the ability to moonlight.
Malpractice Insurance paid (A+ rated)
