Position: Hospitalist (Full-Time, 7 on 7 off, 12-Hour Shifts)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Hospitalist to work a 7 on 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing inpatient care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring the overall well-being of hospitalized patients. This position offers a great work-life balance with the convenience of a consistent schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform daily rounds, reviewing patient histories, assessing conditions, and ordering necessary tests and treatments.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Participate in hospital-wide initiatives aimed at improving patient care quality and efficiency.

• 12-hour shifts - mainly days.
  

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Prior hospitalist experience is preferred but not required.
