IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is hiring! We are seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospice/Palliative Careteam inBloomington, Indiana.

IU Health palliative care is focusedon improving quality of life while dealing with a serious illness and providing personalized care that is focused on the patient, not just theirdisease, supporting care goals through pain and symptom management, spiritual and psychosocial counseling and assistance in advance care planning.We aim to support the patient and their loved ones. Care is provided for Pediatric to Geriatric patientsat the Hospice House and through Home Visits.

Position Details:

  • Full-time Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Provideclinical consults with patient/family members
  • Team includes 3physicians and one other Advanced Provider
  • Key responsibilities: end of life care, medication management, H&P/clinical notes and symptom control. Position will include every other weekend hospital rotation.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold either ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications
  • APP Experience in Palliative or Hospice Care highly preferred
  • Open to new graduates
    • If new graduate, RN experience in Hospice/Palliative Care is required
  • Must have valid driver's licensure and reliable transportation as driving is required
