Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, in partnership with Tufts Medical Center's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is seeking a full-time AP/CP BC/BE Surgical Pathologist with Cytopathology training to join our group of four pathologists.

The Department of Pathology is accredited by both the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks. The Anatomic Pathology service accessions approximately 12,000 to 13, 000 specimens annually including a variety of biopsies, large surgical specimens, and approximately 30 bone marrow cases which are signed out by Hematopathologists. There are about 900 Non-Gyn cytology/FNA annually from different interventional procedures such as CT-guided, ultrasound- guided, and EBUS procedures. GU and breast services are expected to increase. There are over 11,000 GYN pap cytology cases (currently the GYN pap cytology cases are signed out in LabCorp).
