Anesthesiologist Job at Erie County Medical Center Corp. in Buffalo, NY

Exciting opportunity for an Anesthetist for Erie County Medical Center.  Varied shifts administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.  Work is performed in collaboration with a qualified anesthesiologist and supervision is exercised over student anesthetists and other health care providers. 

Department Staff - 23 FT CRNA's, 4 PT. 14 Anesthesiologists, 3 Anesthesia Techs.

The incumbent would perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment, develop and implement an anesthetic plan and initiate the technique. 

Requires good knowledge of various anesthesia agents and their applications,

Requires NYS RN license and CRNA certification. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

NYS benefits and pension.

$20/hr shift differential between 3pm and 7am and when working more than 4 hours on weekends.

Educational Reimbursement up to $4750 per year.
