Job Description

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center is actively seeking an Anesthesiologist to join us in our mission to provide Veterans with the world-class benefits and services they have earned.

Highlights:

  1. General Anesthesia with care team model: primarily medically directing Anesthesia Residents and CRNA's
  2. Diverse case load with teaching opportunities
  3. Opportunities for some cardiac cases and/or interventional pain procedures for those qualified
  4. Call scheduled quarterly; approximately 1:10, 2-3 call days per month
  5. Full-time or part-time option
  6. Typical shift M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm, 1 holiday shift per year
  7. Up to $200K in loan repayment opportunity available

Qualifications:

  1. MD or DO degree
  2. BE/BC Anesthesiology
  3. Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
