Our colorectal surgery service volume has grown significantly! This provider will see patients in the clinic for follow-ups, postoperative patients, Operating Room assist and help with hospital rounding. Our team of highly skilled and board-certified surgeons specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases of the colon and rectum. Our Colorectal team treat a wide breadth of patients including complex colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease. We treat patients with intestinal obstruction and perforation in the acute setting. We also treat benign pathology including hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, and fecal incontinence.
Due to growth, our team will be adding one surgeon and one APP.
The Physician Assistant provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up as directed. The Physician Assistant assists physician with procedures and serves as a liaison between the physician and the patient. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
