BVHS Infectious Disease

  • 100% infectious disease, adults only
  • Week 1: hospital service; Week 2: three clinic days, two days off (flexible)
  • Office located on the hospital campus
  • Patients receive intravenous antibiotics at home, outpatient infusion center or nursing home
  • Staff provide travel consultations, immunizations and immigration physicals
  • Full complement of medical and surgical specialties and interventional radiology
  • 24-hour in-house hospitalist services
  • Weekly onsite CME, and CME/grand rounds available through Mayo Clinic Care Network
  • Base salary that continues beyond the first contract term plus wRVU bonus, signing bonus, relocation, CME stipend
  • Student support during or following training (option of monthly, quarterly or annual stipend)
