Hospitalist Job at Fort HealthCare in Fort Atkinson, WI

Fort HealthCare-Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, WI, would like to recruit a full-time Hospitalist to join our well-established and stable hospital medicine program consisting of 3 full-time employed Hospitalists, 1 hospitalist APNP, and 3 long-term, part-time independent contractors. This program started in mid-August, 2010, and we have a group of experienced physicians who have worked together for many years in a collegial environment. 

The work schedule is 12-hour day shift, 7a-7p, 7 on 7 off, and our full-time schedule is 14.3 shift per month. There is flexibility to pick up night shifts if the need arises. We take care of all medical patients and are involved with most surgical patients either as admitting or consulting physician. Our Hospitalists manage all the intensive care unit and ventilator patients in our 4-bed intensive care unit. No procedures are required but those who have procedural skills can continue to do them.
