North Oaks Health System is seeking full-time Board-Eligible or Board-Certified NEUROLOGISTS to join our hospital-employed practice in Hammond, Louisiana.

Overview:

• North Oaks Medical Center is conveniently located in Hammond, LA - offering a small-town charm and close-knit community atmosphere, but also easy access to both New Orleans & Baton Rouge – both cities are less than an hour away!
• Serving a large geographic market of approximately 500,000 residents, North Oaks Health System is one of Louisiana’s largest and most progressive community hospital organizations which includes a 330-bed acute care hospital, 14 expansive operating suites, level II trauma designation, a 27-bed rehabilitation hospital, a freestanding surgical center, two diagnostic centers, a hospice agency, and the largest multispecialty provider clinic in the region.
• This position is well-suited to a physician seeking a bread-and-butter practice, seeing patients both inpatient and outpatient. North Oaks’ neurologists only serve one hospital location, with the clinic being on the same campus.
• As a Certified Primary Stroke Center, North Oaks Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, as well as the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark, for using best practices in providing stroke intervention and care for improving patient outcomes.
• As North Oaks has a tremendous multispecialty physician group practicing on the same campus, our providers frequently collaborate with great ease. Not only does this build comradery amongst our medical staff but also allows them to provide high-quality and well-coordinated care.
