The Role
You’ll handle everything from patient evaluations and diagnostics to prescribing treatments and guiding families—all while the rest of DC dreams. You’ll also supervise medical students and collaborate with consultants as needed.
What We’re Looking For
🔹 Education & Credentials:
PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, NCCPA certification, and D.C. licensure.
NP: Master’s degree in Nursing, ANCC certification, and D.C. licensure.
🔹 Experience:
3-5 years in a hospital or acute care setting with a focus on procedural skills (e.g., laceration repair, central line placement, intubation, etc.).
🔹 Note: Due to the nature of emergency and acute care procedures, Physician Assistants are strongly preferred for this role, though experienced Nurse Practitioners with relevant procedural expertise are encouraged to apply.
